Cinema Under the Stars, April 6th, at Bi-Centennial Park, West Pymble, in Sydney
Open Air Big Screen Cinema Series
Updated: Mid April, 2018
Dream Foundation Australia is working with Ku-ring-gai Council, in Sydney to stage a series open air film night events for families in the local area.
The events are fund raisers that also contribute to the fabric of society, through uniting community groups around common purposes that make large differences to the way we live with ourselves and nature.
Film night community building
We are deeply appreciative of community groups that are volunteering and supporting this event series:
- West Pymble Public School, Principal, Teachers and P & C
- West Pymble Scouts
For the next event on May 5, at Bi-Cenentenital park we are in discussions with, three adjacent schools, the Girl Guides and Ku-ring-gai Rotary.
Fund Raising for Local Projects
Our fund raising is in support of two collaborating NGO social projects, ‘Earth Story’ and ‘Children Make the Difference to the Natural World‘ that originated in the municipality, and are operational in West Pymble public school.
These projects have two purposes, restoring
- The love of nature and connection to the land to our children
- Empowering children to be eloquent, passionate advocates for the natural world, and lead if they choose in society
- Indigenous culture and lore to society (Earth Story)
Dream Foundation and Earth Story intend to launch these programs in other schools in the municipality, with the aim of having 300 Sydney schools participate in collaboration with local councils.
